In that case, please excuse my response above. I'm sure you can see where your response was just a bit offensive from my point of view.

I guess I could have gone a little more in-depth about it, but truthfully it wasn't really a main point of the post, so I decided not to.

I certainly wasn't trying to bragg about being spacerich. I had some real world issues after I had already decided to quit playing eve...so that led to the decision I made.

It was a very hard pill to swallow for me at the time (I have always been opposed to RMT), but in that moment...my views on a video game were irrelevant) Not trying to justify what I did, just saying that I learned a hard lesson about it, and hopefully people are willing to understand that and leave it in the past now.

Who said anything about being unwilling to forgive?

Your blog entry gave no indication that you thought it was a mistake, that you regret it or that you had real world need for cash that trumps keeping a game account.

It simply came across as bragging that you were spacerich, but bored of EVE, so you thought you'd make some money, and fuck the consequences.

If you'd put even the minimal explanation you made here in your blog post, I'd never have said a word...

It's amazing how short-sighted people can be. Never willing to forgive, etc.

I made a mistake due to some personal reasons, learned from it, will never do it again, etc, etc. People make mistakes...it happens. I'm certainly not going to justify my reasoning to anyone...all that matters (to me at least), is that it's in the past, I learned from it, I was [severely] punished, and now I'm back.

Luckily I don't need approval from anyone to enjoy my game :D

I won't dignify any other snide/short-sighted comments with a response.

I'm still following. I was kind of told why you burnt your bridges, didn't get the full story. Is what it is I suppose. I only lost 500mil on the deal, so wasn't a big loss on me, whatever. Hope all is well in your world, and looking forward to seeing what you do in EVE now.

If you've read the latest devblog: maybe it's an idea to check out Factional Warfare, and let us know how the upcoming changes will make it more (or less) interesting?

Or maybe start doing FW after said changes went live?

How can you expect people to join your corp or alliance after this? Even if you don't ask for a deposit, or they don't fall for it, you can still take their stuff once they try to move to your space, or you can shoot them if they cyno in their carrier and etc.
